Bendominoes

Learn about a commercial novelty version of the standard classic domino game.

Bend-Ominos is a game variation on standard dominoes published by Blue Orange Games, which was first released in 2007, and invented by Thierry Denoual.

Each Bend-Omino set is made up of 28 individual tiles, and each moulded plastic tile is curved 120 degrees in shape.  The tiles are marked on both ends with one of the seven standard suits of 0 (or blank) to 6 pips like a standard Double-Six domino set.  There are other versions of the set marked with pictures instead of pipped suits, aimed at children.  It comes in standard, deluxe and junior versions.

The curved shape of the tiles introduces different levels of strategy than the standard Double-Six domino game.

The game is for 2 to 4 players aged 5 and up.  Game play is very similar to the standard Draw game played with standard Double-Six dominoes.  The first player to score 100 points, wins the game.
