BaronetA very simple solitaire game for one player, which is all luck and can be played with any Western domino set from a Double-Six up to Double-Eighteen. Play: The dominoes are shuffled, facedown, and then laid out, facedown in a line. The player then counts up from zero to the total of the highest double in the set, turning over the tiles in sequence as they go. Any time a domino totals the same number as being counted, it is set aside and the player continues counting with the subsequent tile in line. If the total isn't the number called then it is turned back facedown. Once the end of the line has been reached, the player continues from the beginning but starting their count from the number of spots on the last domino turned over. So if the tile on the end of the line totals 3, the player counts from 4 from the beginning of the line. Play continues until all the tiles have been set aside, and the game is won, or it is no longer possible to match the count with a pip total. |
